YesHealth Group today announced the expansion of its mature and market-validated vertical farming business model in Taiwan through a new strategic collaboration with Taichung-based Seasons Future Farm Co., Ltd. Together, the companies will develop a large-scale indoor vertical farm in Xinshe District, Taichung City, strengthening regional food supply and advancing sustainable agriculture in central Taiwan.

The new facility will be built on a 6,000-square-meter greenfield site and will feature a total cultivation area of approximately 15,000 square meters. Designed to meet YesHealth Group’s technical and operational standards, the farm will include 13 advanced growing racks, each reaching 11 meters in height, enabling high-density, year-round production of premium leafy greens.

Under the collaboration structure, Seasons Future Farm will lead construction of the building and infrastructure in accordance with YesHealth Group’s specifications, while YesHealth Group will design, install, and operate the internal farming systems. Construction is scheduled to commence on February 13, 2026, with installation of farming equipment beginning in August 2026. The facility is expected to begin commercial production in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The project is rooted in a shared commitment to healthier food systems and long-term agricultural sustainability. Seasons Future Farm is operated by Chairman Mr. Tsu-Hui Chung and his family, who bring deep local knowledge and a long-term vision for the future of agriculture in central Taiwan.

“The original intention behind this project was a deep concern for consumers’ health and the future of sustainable agriculture,” said Mr. Tsu-Hui Chung, Chairman of Seasons Future Farm.

“After more than 40 years in the real estate industry, I began looking for a meaningful and sustainable sector to invest in for the next generation of my family. While managing land in Xinshe that had been leased for traditional grape cultivation, I observed the growing challenges farmers faced from pests and increasing agricultural inputs, yet harvest outcomes remained uncertain. This made me reflect on the importance of developing safer and more reliable ways to produce food.

Six years ago, I visited a YesHealth vertical farm through the Rotary International Vocational Visit and was deeply impressed by its clean, technology-driven approach to healthy agriculture. That experience planted the seed for this collaboration and strengthened my determination to help bring high-quality, responsibly grown produce to consumers in Taiwan.”

Once operational, the farm will primarily supply the central Taiwan market, including Miaoli, Taichung, Changhua, Nantou, and Yunlin, improving regional access to fresh, locally grown produce while shortening supply chains. Production capacity will be integrated with YesHealth Group’s Taoyuan facility under the YesHealth iFarm brand to expand market reach and strengthen nationwide distribution.

“Through our collaboration with Seasons Future Farm, we aim to bring YesHealth iFarm’s philosophy of ‘Love Health, Sharing Health’ to a wider community of consumers across central Taiwan,” said Mr. Winston Tsai, Chairman of YesHealth Group. “By combining advanced indoor farming technology with strong local collaborations, we are making it possible to deliver consistently fresh, safe, and sustainably grown produce closer to where people live. This collaboration represents an important step in expanding access to high-quality greens while supporting the long-term development of resilient, future-ready food systems in Taiwan.”

The project will also expand services to business-to-business customers, including major retail channels such as Costco, as well as hospitality and food service groups. In parallel, Seasons Future Farm will develop its own proprietary consumer brand to complement the joint production platform.

YesHealth Group will deploy a dedicated professional operations team to manage daily production and farm operations under a three-year operations service agreement. The collaboration reflects more than eight months of joint technical and operational planning between the two organizations.

Looking ahead, YesHealth Group and Seasons Future Farm plan to further expand their collaboration, with the intention to develop one to two additional vertical farms of similar scale in central Taiwan in the coming years.
